Tuesday January 17 th 2017. - Woodland Work

John Honeyman is a Coppice worker often working in the NWT reserve woods. His talk will include the importance of his craft to the welfare of the woods, conservation techniques and the traditional skills used in his everyday work.

 

Tuesday February 21st 2017 - Birds of Sherwood

Andy Lowe works for the Notts Wildlife Trust and has a special interest in the birds of Sherwood including a close look at the fascinating Cuckoo and Nightjar.

 

Tuesday March 21st 2017 - The Wildlife of Ponds

David Fox describes himself as a lifelong naturalist .He is the author of two books and has had his images published worldwide including for the BBC . He has a wealth of experience and returns to our group to talk on The Wildlife of Ponds.

Tuesday April 18th 2017-Butterflies 50 years of change.

 

William Bacon has a special interest in Butterflies. This talk is just in time for the summer months ahead as he will be able to give us the skills to help identify and spot these pretty creatures.

Rob Atkinson of the NWT will be our guide for this ever popular woodland stroll.
