We take a break for August from our outdoor meetings. Apologies to the person who turned up at Farmfoods to find there was nobody there to give directions to Potteric Carr. There was obviously a mixup with the person who had promised to be there.

The next meeting is the first of the new season indoor meetings to be held at our new venue: Station Hotel near the level crossing

At this time of year we would recommend a visit to Anston Woods where the wild flowers are at their best. At least 3 varieties of orchid are on view. Visit in particular the Stewardship Meadow where the pictures below were taken.
