Events

There are regular meetings throughout the year on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 7.30 pm.

Please Note - Our monthly indoor meetings are held in the Concert Room (on the ground floor) in the Stanley Street Sports and Social Club.  For directions and map see below.  For Sat Nav owners and Multimap the postcode is S81 7HX.  

For outdoor evening meetings (May to August inclusive) we meet at the Worksop Library car park on Memorial Avenue at 7 pm.  For full day Tuesday meetings the following week see directions to meeting place below.

Outdoor All Day Tuesday Events 2008

27th May 2008

Meet in reserve car park at 10 am (OS ref SE 593013). Take A1 north then M18 east towards Hull. At 1st junction, No 3, take A6182 to Doncaster then at 2nd roundabout turn right (follow brown sign) and park on left opposite the reserve entrance. Note there is an entrance fee of £2 to £3 per person depending on membership details and any concessions.

Directions to Stanley Street Sports & Social Club

• From Nottingham, A1 or A614

• Take A57 to Worksop/Sheffield

• At 4th roundabout on the Worksop bypass near Sainburys

• Take 3rd exit (A60) towards Bassetlaw hospital

• Straight across 2 mini roundabouts & past B&Q on the left

• At a T-junction with traffic lights, turn left

• Drive under a railway bridge

• At the next set of traffic lights, bear right

• In about 100 yds turn first right into Stanley Street
   

• From Sheffield, A57 and M1 Junction 31

• Take A57 towards Worksop

• At 3rd roundabout on the Worksop bypass near Sainsburys

• Take the 2nd exit (A60) towards Bassetlaw hospital

• Straight across 2 mini roundabouts & past B&Q on the left

• At a T-junction with traffic lights, turn left

• Drive under a railway bridge

• At the next set of traffic lights, bear right

• In about 100 yds turn first right into Stanley Street
   

• From Sheffield, Chesterfield, A616 and M1 Junction 30

• Take A616 towards Ollerton and Newark

• At the 1st roundabout east from the M1 take the A619 to Worksop

• At the Worksop bypass roundabout with the petrol station

• Take the 1st exit (A57) left to the next roundabout near Sainsburys

• Take the 3rd exit (A60) towards Bassetlaw hospital

• Straight across 2 mini roundabouts & past B&Q on the left

• At a T-junction with traffic lights, turn left

• Drive under a railway bridge

• At the next set of traffic lights, bear right

• In about 50 yds turn first right into Stanley Street
